I know I don't have a lot of popularity here on DA, but even if I get a small amount of views, I feel like every last one will count.





For someone who has a bigger heart for animals than people, pardon me if I seem a little biased. If by the end of this journal you do not agree with me, I would like it if you simply refused the urge to comment about it. (For one, I don't want to hear your arguement, and two, I won't give a damn.)

Maybe I'm just too passionate about things like this but I can't keep quiet about it. If it bothers you, you'll have to get over it.


For those of you who have not already seen or heard about it, here's the story...



"The 'artist' Guillermo Vargas Habacuc, took a dog from the street, tied him to a rope in an art gallery and began starving him to death - he called it 'art'.

For several days, the 'artist' and the visitors of the exhibition watched, emotionless, the shameful 'masterpiece' based on the dog's agony, until eventually he died."



Does that sound like art to you?



The "artist" - and I use this term VERY loosely - claims that the homeless dog would have gotten sick and/or would have died eventually. Well, humans get ill too, and we die eventually as well, but we don't tie them up and watch them starve to death, and we certainly don't call it 'art.'

If he was trying to shock anyone, or make a statement, I'm sure he could have found another way.

**EDIT** There are people, articles and links saying that this was a big hoax, but even if it is, I want to cover all the bases, just in case. I feel like if this whole thing is a fake, it is still worth the risk of my attention **EDIT**
